THREE YEARS PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY

Drago American warrants the original purchaser of a Drago America branded equipment that such equipment is free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, proper installation, maintenance and service as described by Drago America’s installation and operations instructions supplied with each Drago America refrigerator. This warranty is non transferrable. Drago America’s warranty is limited to a period of 3 years from the date the unit is placed in service but will not exceed 4 years from ship to date from Drago America, whichever is earlier. Drago America warranty is restricted to indoor commercial applications. Residential or outdoor installations will nullify the warranty. Any parts covered under this warranty determined to be defective within the terms of this warranty are limited to being repaired or replaced and shall be decided upon by Drago America Warranty Department. Any repairs and labor will include straight labor charges and reasonable trip charges, which will be determined by Drago America Warranty Department. All warrantied products must be registered through Drago America’s website to validate warranties. This warranty is valid only within the continental 48 states.

FIVE YEAR COMPRESSOR WARRANTY

Drago America warrants its compressors, which are hermetically sealed, to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, proper installation, maintenance and service for a period of five years but will not exceed 6 years from ship to date from Drago America, whichever is earlier. Drago America reserves the right to nullify this warranty due to improper or negligent maintenance, Improper operation due to low voltage operations, inadequate wiring, damages or accidents that are not Drago America manufacturing defects. Condenser coils must be properly cleaned and maintained a minimum of every three months. Improper care or maintenance may cause a malfunction in the compressor or block the capillary tubes, which will nullify the warranty. The two additional years of warranty apply to the hermetically sealed parts of the compressor and not to any other parts or components of the unit.

ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS

Drago America offers a limited warranty for one year parts, labor and compressor for refrigeration units installed in mobile applications, which are considered food trucks and food trailers. Drago America accepts no liability for any parts or labor due to failure or damage resulting from improper installation in a mobile application. Any modified, altered or manipulated equipment other than the original design or intended use will nullify the warranty.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All warranty claims must be submitted to Drago America directly. All claims must include the enduser’s business name, business address, business contact’s name, business contact’s phone number, business contact’s email address, model number, serial number, proof of purchase, & brief description of the issue. in case registration has not been completed. All warranty service calls must be previously approved prior to any authorized service or purchase of over the counter parts for reimbursement. In case of compressor warranty, a picture of the identification tag on the compressor is needed for both the new compressor and the old compressor. This picture must be submitted to Drago America’s Warranty Department.

All approved service for failed parts or systems will be warrantied by Drago America and will be paid or reimbursed according to Drago America’s List of Nationwide Time Allowances which includes service travel up to 100 miles. Required service past 100 miles, the enduser will be responsible for the difference.

Freight charges for parts being shipped will be prepaid by Drago America if the parts are diagnosed and determined faulty by a Drago America Authorized Service Agent. Drago America only approves regular ground freight charges. Any expedited freight charges are the responsibility of the enduser, unless otherwise preapproved by Drago America’s Warranty Department.

IMPROPER USEAGE

Refrigeration must operate in ordinary ambient conditions. Excessive conditions either too hot, above 100 degrees or too cold, below 50 degrees will result in the unit failing, which Drago America does not warranty. Drago America invalidates any and all warranties for refrigeration units not installed correctly, cleaned or maintained correctly as instructed by the Drago America Owner’s Manual provided with each unit.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

Drago America’s only accountability under this warranty is either to repair or replace a part or unit that has failed. Any person, company or agency who performs any repairs or service to any Drago America refrigeration unit without prior Drago America approval will be solely responsible for any and all costs associated with that repair.

Drago America warranty excludes parts that fail under normal wear and tear. Typically, these parts include gaskets, door and lid handles, casters, hinges, shelving, lighting, shelf clips. pans, pan dividers and breakage of any parts cause by improper handling, failed electronics and controllers caused by electrical surges or water damage from an external source.

Drago America will not be liable for any repairs or replacements of damaged parts or components due to incorrect electrical voltage supply, unstable voltage supply or the use of extension cords.

Drago America will not be responsible for any repairs or replacements determined to be caused by altercation, neglect, misuse, abuse, accident or damaged during transit or installation, fire, flood or Act of God.

Drago America, LLC is not responsible for any financial loss of product spoilage or loss due to special, consequential or indirect damages due to product failure. Drago America, LLC is not responsible for any lost revenue or any other loses assumed due to product failure. Drago America warranties only the equipment and warranties are not valid unless the equipment is paid in full according to Drago America’s Accounts Payable Terms and Conditions and registered through Drago America’s website.

These warranty statements supersede any other warranty statements expressed or implied and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of Drago America, LLC. Drago America neither assumes nor authorizes any person or party to assume or authorize any service regarding the sale of this unit of refrigeration without prior authorization by Drago America, LLC.
